Leaders Plus focuses on growing better communicators and leaders, but we insist on having fun along the way. Our club purpose is to provide a supportive and positive learning environment for members to develop communication and leadership skills following the Toastmasters
International progam. Our members are real-life examples of how using the Toastmasters program can improve your self-confidence and contribute to your personal growth.
The name Leaders Plus originated when our club was chartered in 1977 as a second club for existing Toastmasters involved at the District leadership level as a forum in which they could focus on improving their leadership styles both for district service and professionally.
As business environments changed and called for stronger professional skills in facilitative leadership and coaching, Leaders Plus responded by opening its membership to everyone over the age of 18. Our emphasis on supporting and mentoring our members into more effective leaders remains the same, but with a broader vision.
